Replacing a Single tooth

If a single tooth is missing, one implant and a crown over it is recommended.

Replacing Multiple teeth

If several teeth are missing, implant-supported bridges are recommended.

Implant Supported Denture

What is it?

This is a type of an ‘overdenture' which is supported and attached to implants.

How to care?

Remove the denture at night for cleaning. Carefully clean around the attachment of the implant and the gums.

What can you expect from your denture?

  1. Your denture will be very stable. It will slightly move during eating to accommodate the facial muscles. Adjustments in bite will be done during the follow-up visits.
  2. It will be easier to speak and you need not worry about the denture becoming loose or falling out of your mouth.
  3. Eating your favourite foods will now be easier. However avoid chewing hard or sticky foods because they can damage the denture.
  4. In your upper jaw, it can be made to cover less of your palate (roof of the mouth) thus making it less bulky than a regular denture.
